Because most of the confidential and personal information of individuals is located in mobile phones. In this regard, some safety tips for maintaining information security in mobile phones will be described below.
- Define password for mobile phone use:
Nowadays, all mobile phones have the ability to set passwords, define fingerprints or use the face of the mobile phone owner to reopen the mobile phone, and no one will be able to use a mobile phone without this information. In some cases, it has been observed that in mobile phones without passwords, the thief extorts money after stealing the device and threatens to disclose personal information on the phone. In addition, it has been observed that the thief, by having the contact list of the owner of the mobile phone, sends a text message and requests money by falsifying his identity. None of the above is possible if security measures are in place for the mobile phone.
- Save personal information on the internal memory of the mobile phone:
Most mobile phones on the market, in addition to internal storage, also have the ability to add external memory cards. The information stored in the external memory section is directly accessible and less secure than mobile internal storage.
